The exhibition Nicht Arcade starts from a hypothetical situation in which an individual's identity is completely coded and all personal information is hidden. Nicht Arcade is a space in the work and at the same time presents a concept that penetrates the entire exhibition. The landscape of the exhibition, which is completely different from the current world, yet very similar, poses questions to the audience. Is this space without possession, identity and even the sense of place a utopia or a dystopia? The exhibition tells the story of a name and identity to define an individual, a society that deals with that identity, and an individual who is asked for a clear identity from that society. The voice that introduces the arcade, where only me and not me exist, speaks confidently about its safety and freedom. “And now escape from your personally identified world!”

In a world where only organized information is effective and trustworthy, where anonymity becomes autonym, where there should be personality, only code remains. The nature of the place is deconstructed, and the human being is analyzed as an object. The intrinsic and raw desire became the object of observation, analysis, and exhibition (display). The elements that make up human beings have become the material of data. The analyzed existence is delivered to the advertiser. Someone's 'identity' becomes a target of attack and hatred. The artist reverses or magnifies this situation through her work. By neutralizing differences and characteristics and paralyzing the hardened identity of individuals and places, it puts a brake on conditions that were naturally accepted.

The works show various scenes based on the identity of people and places. In Non-identity Billboard, an unknown woman is smiling happily. She introduces products and services that would make her happy when she buys them. Her expression is an item that can be replaced by anyone else. In Different Floors, fragments of an erased place and identity are gathered and combined each other. The place where someone's time and experience were accumulated changes and becomes an unknown road, and the space open to everyone is privatized and fixed as a certain address. All stays come at a cost. Different Floors: private square located in the center of the exhibition space is a temporary place that will disappear in three weeks, and is anonymous and free of cost. The voice emanating from Non-public reaction is an invisible response or reaction. Human experience is wrapped anonymously and becomes a piece of gossip.

The spots and identities appearing in Nicht Arcade are unclear by themselves. Full of not- and non-, this place raises questions about the authenticity of real humans (-individuals).

Most of my works are space based. Each works are single work itself but also the element of the space installation. You can find the several works under the one title.
